Netflix says one dubbed version of a show takes 50 to 60 people.
Ten languages? About 500!
That's why Squid Game gets 24 dubs, and almost everything else ever filmed gets none.
The bottleneck in localisation was never quality. It's who can afford a second production.
If only there was another way!!!

Introducing CABIN from PIP Studios.
The world's first glimpse of PIP's new video platform. CABIN is the only AI product suite PIP will be pushing their roster through: Sony, Paramount, Amazon, Universal, Netflix, and more.
The gateway is what PIP does best, localization. From there, CABIN opens into a full suite of video tools.
And if those tools sound familiar... you've probably guessed it. It's the full @vidaio_ feature set, running under PIP's own brand.
CABIN - powered by VIDAIO

The first fully AI-generated feature film to get an MPA rating is going for an Oscar.
"Gods Don't Give Gifts" is rated R, and the studio behind it, Fable, is submitting it for Best Animated Feature. They've even moved the US release from 30 October to 4 December to get closer to Oscar season.
The reaction has been predictable. Is it art? Is it slop? Will the Academy ever go for it?
Wrong question.
It didn't get to cinemas because it had a better model. Anyone can rent the same models tomorrow. It got there because its creator, YouTuber Gossip Goblin, already had the audience waiting.
When the tools are cheap and the same for everyone, the tools stop being the advantage. Distribution is. Taste is. Trust is.
So whether it gets an Oscar nomination doesn't really matter. "I made a feature with AI" is no longer a story on its own.
The model gets it made. The audience gets it seen. Is that all that matters?

Our API is live, and miners can earn through this, and Mozai is coming soon. We have two recently active sales distributors (resellers), one who has big clients in their pipeline already, so miners should earn from those as well.
And instead of going out and trying to get more individual deals, we're building up an army of these distributors to sell on our behalf. This is how we'll scale into the size of our vision and be able to capture our TAM more effectively.
SUPER VIDAIO!
We thought weβd have a bit of fun so we made this short video showing how our incentive mechanism and miner rewards work.
The winning miner not only gets the alpha reward but also, they get a revenue share from Vidaio for as long as that minerβs model is used with clients.

@CryptoZPunisher@vidaio_ We are looking to capture the entire value chain, from ingest to delivery: compression, upscale, restore, localise, post-production tools (object removal, colourisation, etc.), transcoding..... we are very close!

Netflix paid $587M for InterPositive, the AI company founded by Ben Affleck. Now we know what it's for.
Affleck used it on his new Netflix film, Animals. Not to generate scenes from prompts. For post-production: missing shots, background replacements, lighting fixes. Models trained on the film's own footage, with decisions left to the filmmakers.
That's the signal. The world's biggest streamer didn't spend half a billion on AI that replaces the shoot. It spent it on AI that helps finish the film.
That's where the real value in AI video is right now: making existing footage better, faster and cheaper to finish, not inventing it from nothing.

You may have noticed at Exploit...
Vidaio has a new look!
We are indeed rebranding to kick off the next chapter of our growth.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, with much more to follow.

Nice to see @vidaio_ on here after what they did for exploit. My family was able to use a Bittensor subnet for the first time without even knowing it. bittensor:native
