@Nickfromupnorth That brings back a lot of memories. I canโt believe it was over 30 years ago. Meeting at the blue box seams like it was only yesterday.
@Hull_Trains@hulltrains The email I received from Hull trains asked me to reply to that email address. It feels like this is an intentional "infinite loop" that has been created so Hull trains dont have to respond!
Can anyone @Hull_Trains explain why I keep getting this response when I email customer service for refunds and claims updates for train delays. The other "@hulltrains.co.uk" email address accounts seem to work fine? This feels like a delaying tactic not to pay refunds!!
@IainDale@KirstyWark Do you think the budget could be a "lose-lose" for Labour or, more specifically, for Rachel Reeves? I think this budget is crucial for Labour's credibility. But I think that credibility is hanging by a thread at the moment Starmer will do whatever it takes to project power.
@angus_young61 because of a combination stubbornness, procrastination & geopolitics, as a region we are getting left behind & it has a negative impact on business & the economy. Everytime we start to make progress, itโs stops & we have to start again. Itโs Groundhog Day yet again!
@afneil Politics in this country is at an all time low and has been heading in the direction for the last 30 years. Some polictions, peers & advisors think they are above the law, and are untouchable. And it looks like some of them are!! They need to be held accountable. But they wont!
@angus_young61 I think these are exactly the types of stories that people in the region want to read & know about. We want to know what is (or is not) happening to our city, what is not working or needs to be improved & celebrate the success, especially from a local business POV.
@alanacct Iโm no fan of Farage, but if the story is true and Coutts decided they didnโt want to do business with him because of his political views and interests, then where does it stop, who decides who is โin or outโ and what is the benchmark!
@CllrFareham @angus_young61 "Not my local garage, corner shop, cafeโฆ. Nor Reckitts/Siemens at the other end" - well i guess that sweeping statement makes it so! You need to talk to the business community & organisations to get a different view point. Morley, Teeside, etc are growing because of devolution.
@NickyHorne@BBC Was the unions involved or aware redundancy review process? From my experience of being involved in redundancies, the unions should be involved to make sure itโs applied consistently and fairly to everyone involved?
