2:50:22 game time in Chocobo Tales. Incredible run. Duels were generally fantastic and minigames went well. As ever, no-air hockey could've gone better, but I saved time on it over my PB so I'm happy! Really proud of how far I've pushed this.
I entered a small Pokémon TCG Pocket tournament (57 entrants, but a lot of them were DQed early) with a "limited list" of cards you're only allowed to play 1 copy of to spice things up. I had a lot of fun and came 2nd with an aggressive Fighting deck!
I'm disappointed with my PSR Marathon run. I had some bad luck, but a lot of the timeloss was down to my mistakes. I was tired and low on practice — I had a busier lead-up week than I expected, but I should have organised my time better. I will learn from this.
24 hours from now, I'll be running Pokémon Infinity for Pokémon Speedruns Marathon 2024! It'll be on https://t.co/52JY7TA0Vg, and you can find the schedule for the whole marathon at https://t.co/UL5VcGaBzf (it's already started!)
It's a real PB, just like I said it would be! Gorochu is a more reliable early-game main than Simipour, so this should be the route I stick with going forward.
Didn't beat my v.2.3.6 2:28:06, but there's extra content in v3.0, so is it a PB? I'm not sure, but either way there's room for improvement here. Next time will be a real, unambiguous PB!
