He called the police first.
He met her on a matrimonial website.
Spoke for 4 months.
When they finally met, she tried to get physical.
He refused - he wanted trust before intimacy.
She threatened a rape case.
He called the police. Before she did.
She injured herself and called them too.
He was arrested anyway.
15 days in jail.
Released on bail.
His friends said he was never the same after that. He withdrew.
Stopped talking.
Became someone else.
Gaurav Savanni, 29, was found on a railway track in Bilaspur.
His suicide note said: "I have been betrayed in love."
His mother was hospitalised from the shock.
This is not an isolated case. This is a pattern.
Today I went to a family court with my friend.
It was a hearing in his divorce case.
My friend still loves his wife, but she is angry with him because he is not buying a flat for the family.
Now the problem is, his wife thinks that I am the one who brainwashed him into not buying the property. So somehow, even I became the villain.
The proceedings started…….
The Judge asked both of them, “Why are you here?”
My friend replied, “I was called by the court summons.”
Judge: “Okay, but why?”
Friend: “I don’t know why.”
The Judge then asked, “Who filed the divorce?”
My friend replied, “Sir, she filed it.”
Judge again: “Why?”
Friend again: “Don’t know.”
The Judge then turned towards the wife.
“Yes madam, you filed the divorce?”
Wife: “Yes.”
Judge: “Why?”
Wife: “Don’t know, my lawyer is not there.”
Judge to the reader: “Date de do inhe.”
My friend looked completely confused and turned towards me.
I smiled and asked him to come back and sit on the bench.
Suddenly, the wife’s lawyer entered the courtroom and runs towards the bench.
Her Lawyer to Judge: “My Lord, she is my client.”
Judge: “Who? Do you even know her name?”
Her Advocate: “Yes…”
He looked at the file cover and then read out her name.
Judge: “I am done for the day.”
He stood up and walked into his chamber.
My friend was again left shocked.
He came back to me and asked,
“What is this, bro?”
I smiled and said:
“Welcome to the great Indian circus.” 🎪
Let’s go..!

Software Engineer earning ₹38 lakh LPA… still rejected..
A software engineer from Bengaluru earning ₹38 lakh per annum shared his experience on social media about his arranged marriage meeting.
The meeting was about arranged marriage, but it turned into a financial audit.
The bride’s father asked him to show his CIBIL score. He didn’t stop there and also asked about:
Job rating
Whether he is a top performer in the company
Job security
When asked such questions, the techie felt shocked.
He thought it was not a marriage discussion.
He felt like it was a corporate interview.
He said he might prefer to be single.
People who commented on his post said:
It’s practical in money matters.
Others said it’s too personal.
Modern marriages are becoming more data-driven.
Checking CIBIL score, salary, and job stability creates compatibility.
A friend of mine who is a trader was about to get married to his gf, but at the last moment her family said no because he trades.
And the funny/sad part is…he’s not even a full time trader. He already has a decent job with a decent salary. He just trades alongside it and even makes small consistent profits only.
They think he's gambling with his salary, and asked him to stop trading completely, but he refused.
Honestly, it feels bad sometimes how people still see traders as gamblers no matter how seriously they take it. The amount of effort we put into learning, controlling emotions, following systems, managing risk… nobody sees that part.
In the end, to most people, a trader is just a gambler. 🤷
Supreme Court hears a divorce case:
The high court had earlier dismissed the husband’s divorce petition.
Counsel for husband: I want to withdraw my petition.
Counsel for wife: my client still willing to live with him because she is a lady with no means at all.
Court to wife: divorce petition has been dismissed? So go and live with him. What is your effort that you want to live with him? Except for opposing the divorce….
Wife: at least litigation costs may be allowed.
Husband: no, please no litigation cost.
Court: you filed a petition, she came here, engaged a lawyer, you have to pay litigation cost.
Wife: he is a government teacher.
Husband: salary is 52k.
Court: are you giving any maintenance to her?
Husband: 15k a month.
Wife: he is withdrawing divorce because he doesn’t have money to pay alimony.
Court: if he is not in a position to pay lump sum amount then keep taking maintenance. File for enhancement (of maintenance).
Court: litigation expenses….
Husband: not more than 5-10k please
Court: Supreme Court mein 5-10k? Kya baat kar rahe ho? Ye toh tehsildaar court kya hua na…
Husband: 52-53k salary
Court: 1 lakh dena padega
Husband: 1 lakh nahi ho payega
Court: okay 55k bas.
Husband: 20k.
Court: 55k. To be paid within 4 weeks.
@RijhwaniSheetal Universal truth..No one hates money .. but sometimes if FAMILY is more important.. the only issue is her behaviour towards family..doing household work is not a achievement, her husband too do lot of work other than office work for family. The output of this is 10yr money for us.
