We’ve been hard at work in meithrin making lots of yummy treats for our #foodforgrowth event happening later today!
We made banana bread muffins using some extra bananas from our snack and topped them with a cream cheese frosting, so tasty! #enterprisingcreativelearners
We’ve had a ffantastig day we’ve had in Meithrin today! We’ve helped our rainbowsaurus’s have a wash and brush their teeth, drawn some pumpkins and autumnal veggies and made some spooky leaves! We are #ambitiouscapablelearners ✨
@garntegprimary@mrsnrogers95 For our ‘Frrindiau o gwmpas Dydd Gwener’ Meithrin used their colour and dinosaur knowledge to play games in our P.E sessions Bendigedig pawb!
We’ve been busy making salt dough creations for our rainbow shop this week! We kneaded and sculpted our dough and then chose our colours to decorate them, we are #ambitiouscapablelearners
What fun we’ve had for our very first wow day of the year in Meithrin! There wasn’t a minute of our day that wasn’t colourful, looking at all the ‘colours of me’ for our topic! We’ve had rainbow smoothies, cakes, dancing and even a rainbow hunt in the garden!
@garntegprimary@mrsnrogers95 We loved meeting our class pets strawberry and brownie today! We introduced them to our class family as part of our health and well-being and understanding that everything in the world can be part of a family.
For our first day, we asked the fairies to help us make some magic play dough to help keep our wishes for the year safe. We whispered the wishes into the play dough, and then gave it a good squeeze and watched the colours change to show us that the magic had worked!
What a fabulous teddy bears picnic we had today for our last day all together in Meithrin! We had jelly and ice cream and took our teddies on wonderful adventures around the classroom! Have the best last day tomorrow everyone and enjoy your summer!
Today we looked a new story called ‘who swallowed Stanley?’ all about a plastic bags journey through the ocean and the impact he had. We took our job of cleaning the ocean very seriously! What a lovely activity to finish off our on the land and under the sea topic!
What a treat having Juliette and Winnie come in to Meithrin this morning! It really helped to build our confidence around dogs, especially with Winnie’s gentle nature and Juliette’s clear instructions. Diolch for taking the time to visit us 🐶
We did colour mixing today to create jellyfish and fish using our handprints and bubble wrap! It was so much fun to watch the colours change as we rubbed our hands or bubble wrap together, we are so creative! 🪼 🐠
A massive well done to our superstars going into reception next year for your leavers concert! We are absolutely beaming with pride at how well you did today in your lines and singing in front of all the grown ups! You were amazing 🤩
Bendigedig bakers for another fabulous round of cupcake making to sell at our leavers concert on Monday! You’ve become quite independent in your cooking, some of you even able to name the ingredients we’d need before we had them on the table! Adderchog superstars! 🧁
What a fabulous few days we’ve had exploring our forest school area! We’ve been lucky enough to spot lots of bugs and beasties in the bug hotel, see some local bird life in the trees through our binoculars and even found a newt in the pond today!
