On this day in 1792, Kentucky became the 15th state admitted to the Union, the first west of the Appalachian Mountains. We strongly believe rural KY is the best place to live, work, and raise a family!
I’m here to tell you, @barrforsenate is going to make one heck of a Senator for our Commonwealth. Looking forward to fighting for our farm families with him. Congratulations to my Congressman and friend. Let’s goooo!
One year ago, President Trump appointed Travis T. Burton as Rural Development KY State Director. He hit the ground running & hasn't slowed down since! From day 1, he’s been strengthening relationships & serving rural KY communities. Let’s keep getting it done!
It’s Primary Election Day in Kentucky!
It’s time to show up, cast your ballot, and help decide what comes next for our Commonwealth.

You don’t have horses without rural & you don’t have KY-bred horses without rural KY. Proud of all we do to support rural KY! Good luck to all in the @KentuckyDerby!
I’m extremely grateful that @POTUS, @VP, and my fellow Cabinet members are safe tonight after this horrific attack.
In the face of such hatred and violence, we are reminded how much is truly at stake.
But evil will not win.
God’s hand of protection has been evident time and again, and we will keep moving forward with faith, courage, and determination.
Pray for our leaders. Pray for our country. We are in this fight for America together, and we will prevail.
We need Comer as Governor of Kentucky. We need his leadership, his tenacity, his ideas, he’s ability to see and fix future problems and work with our super majorities to strengthen the path they’ve put us on. There is no other choice! Comer for Governor 2027!
State Director Travis Burton recently spoke to the Bluegrass Area Develoment District about @usdaRD programs. We value the partnership we have with area development districts across the commonwealth as we work to improve quality of life & economic prosperity in rural KY.
Great to be back home in Lancaster for the Garrard Chamber Spring Luncheon.
Enjoyed sharing our work at the Treasury—returning unclaimed property, strengthening KY’s finances, and standing up for the values that power communities like ours.
LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY: We are asking authorities to NOT RELEASE a criminal illegal alien who KIDNAPPED AND RAPED a child.
On March 29, 2026, ICE requested the Fayette County Jail not release Jorge Luis Martinez-Ulloa, a Honduran National accused of kidnapping, rape of a child under the age of 12, sodomy of a minor, assault, and strangulation. Martinez-Ulloa kidnapped the child and trapped her in an apartment where he is accused of grabbing her by her neck and raping her.
This child predator should have NEVER been in our country, but illegally entered our nation 4 TIMES under the Obama and Biden administrations. He entered a fifth time at an unknown date.
Thankfully, Lexington cooperates with ICE, so this pedophile will NOT be released from jail back into our communities. We need more cities and states to cooperate with us and help remove sick monsters like this from our nation.
