This week I'm in Puerto Rico with a group of @UMNews grad students from @HHHSchool @UmnArch @acaraimpact studying Puerto Rico's #EnergyTransition. We're meeting NGOs, companies, etc across PR creating change in various ways. Follow our blog and retweet!

really liked this breakdown of Spiderverse and Nimona and the discourse around them. It gave me some clearer perspective on trans and LGBTQIA+ media in general and how media shapes conversations about it.
@4_TI_Summer @natashablue22@sesamestreet @OhDangitEvie Your kids will be gay (or not) or trans (or not) regardless of what sesame street does. Why is it so hard for you to tolerate the existence of someone different from yourself and the acknowledgement of them???
@SecretsOfDune@pascalblanche Do we have the script for the next movie yet, or is this one of the many projects getting hit by the writers strike? (I stand with WGA).
@annelisebaer@A_Tasty_Sub Out of curiosity and support for the strike, how should every day people who watch tv and movies avoid crossing the picket line? What does that look like, what should we be aware of/avoiding?
If you are looking for a fantasy series about a boy wizard with glasses and an owl that has no connection to the anti-trans bigot using her massive platform to spread hate, might I suggest The Books of Magic by my very pro-trans friend @neilhimself? Came out 7 years before HP…
There's always a new artist whose work I want but is super limited, or I'm hearing about a new restaurant that has no availability, or a limited run of some object of fandom that looks really cool. The thing is I don't need any of this stuff, but it's still exhausting.
anyone else becoming increasingly exhausted at the shear number of "exclusive" things in the world? I don't mean the big stuff that's in the news like healthcare, but just like tattoo artists, art pieces, food items etc. I feel like I'm constantly surrounded by sources of FOMO.
