holy shit, you fucking lying little bastard.
back in the 90s and 2000s, everyone was just playing games, having fun, and communities were thriving.
then you pronoun fuckers showed up, attacking every attractive female character, demonizing men, screeching that white guys are a problem, and harassing gamers nonstop.
you hijacked our favorite franchises, slapped "problematic" labels on them, race‑swapped and gender‑swapped characters, uglified and censored women, and shoved your gross ideological bullshit down everyone's throat.
you fired devs who didn't agree with you. blacklisted them. cancelled and doxed anyone who dared to push back. and launched smear campaigns that destroyed people's careers and lives.
now you demand every game bend to your political views. shut the fuck up.
we didn't want to talk about politics. we never started the culture war. all we wanted was to play games and have a good time. you miserable fucks didn't want us to.
you people are the most insufferable assholes alive. you're a 21-year‑old adult with pronouns in your bio. grow the fuck up, pussy.
you were never gamers to begin with. fuck off.
Well he picked the right project this time.
Remember, a year ago he ended up leaving that shitshow of a train wreck known as Netflix's "The Witcher" because the showrunner fooled him into signing on by giving him a song and dance about how the series would be faithful to the books and the lore.
And by the time he realized he'd been had, it was too late. He endured 2 seasons and then couldn't take it anymore and left.
So this is nice to hear, that this time he's working with a production that lets him do this according to the lore.
The more discussion I see around Iron Lung, the more that tweet rings true.
People complaining that the eldritch elements are “confusing” feels like this:
“I see the food is labeled spicy.
I eat the spicy food.
Then I ask why it’s spicy.”
That’s the genre.
Eldritch horror is supposed to be confusing. It’s built around the idea that there are things so vast, alien, and incomprehensible that the human brain literally cannot process them cleanly. If everything is neatly explained and wrapped up with a bow, then it stops being eldritch horror and just becomes sci-fi with a creepier coat of paint.
What Iron Lung does really well is refuse to over explain itself. It trusts the audience to sit with discomfort and uncertainty. The horror comes from not knowing, from piecing things together. That’s the point.
But the general audience increasingly needs everything to be explainable and spoon-fed to them. If the movie doesn’t pause to spell out exactly what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how they should feel about it, they reject it outright.
It’s like they need a Subway Surfers clip playing in the corner while big flashing text and text-to-speech narrates every plot beat, otherwise the hamster on the wheel in their brain stalls out and dies.
There exist people who simply cannot wrap their head around the fact that all of the problems in their community are caused by the people they elected.
You pay nearly double the national average for gas because of local taxes, the only store you can shop at is Walmart because local regulations restrict small businesses, there's no affordable housing because of draconian zoning laws and public land being sold to foreign governments, you can't afford electricity because a massive data center was allowed to be built nearby, you can't leave your house after sundown because of soft-on-crime policies, and your kid can't read or do math because your local schools were required to switch to a curriculum based on some crackpot's bogus theories, and then they took the school's funding away to build a hideous statue in a park no one goes to because it's become a tent city full of violent drug addicts, and you wouldn't be able to park your car anyway because the meter prices were jacked up by the private company your town sold the rights to.
This doesn't happen because of racism, or capitalism, or patriarchy, or whatever else your boogeyman of choice might be this week. It happens because of the people you voted for.
Put two and two together, dumbass.
Kimmel: “Trump’s a fascist.”
Colbert: “Trump’s a Nazi.”
Kimmel: “Tyrant.”
Colbert: “Oppressor.”
Kimmel: “Suppresses free speech.”
Colbert: “Doesn’t believe in the 1st Amendment.”
Kimmel: “U.S. citizens, who publicly disagree with him, get snatched off the streets.”
Colbert: “U.S. citizens, who criticize Trump, get ‘disappeared’ by ICE.”
Kimmel: “I live in fear.”
Colbert: “I’m afraid to leave my house.”
Kimmel: “You leave your house?”
Colbert: “How about a toast for bravely standing up to fascism for $20million a year.”
Kimmel: “Here’s to us!”
We don’t tax unrealized gains. If your stock goes up but you don’t sell, that’s not taxable income. I get it. I agree with it.
So why doesn’t that same logic apply to property taxes, especially homes?
Why is it that if my house value goes up for whatever random fucking reason, I suddenly owe the government more money?
>Offer amazing services and support
>You're only a "monopoly" because your competitors are morons who keep shooting themselves in the foot
>This is somehow illegal
Yeah, UK is coooooked
@Mangalawyer Black Myth Wukong, Stellar Blade and Space Marines 2 were the best games of 2024, but were completely ignored by the game awards because they didn't conform with the progressive agenda

Complete bullshit. 99.99% of people lawfully concealing carrying are doing so to defend themselves and others. He was in a highly populated area; it’s completely logical to bring extra ammo. I’ve done it, and most of my friends have done it. None of us were planning to do anything; we were just preparing for the worst.
The amount of ammo and an optic aren’t evidence of anything, especially intent.
If you have real evidence use the real evidence. The democrat “his gun is extra scary” talking point isn’t one you get to use as the pro 2A side. Especially for a mall ninja edition Sig p320.
