Great reception at the doors last night in York-Simcoe with local PC candidate, Susan Lahey.
Residents were clear that they want Susan at Queen's Park to help protect Ontario workers and businesses from U.S. tariffs.
Advanced polls are open today through Friday.
Team Canada needs to stand together more united than ever before.
The prime minister has my full support for a strong response—tariff for tariff, dollar for dollar. As we fight to protect Canadian sovereignty and economic security, everything needs to be on the table. Ontario is ready to do its part.
One step closer to connecting everyone to primary care.
Today at #AMO2026, I announced we are connecting 600,000 more people to primary care by launching the next call for proposals in September to create or expand approximately 78 primary care teams.

Last week, Team Jones was in Scarborough Southwest, knocking on doors with local @OntarioPCParty candidate and family physician, Dr. Noor Tarun.
From strengthening our healthcare system to protecting local jobs, Dr. Tarun will be a strong advocate for Scarborough families.
Canada must stand on its own two feet. We can no longer be so vulnerable and beholden to American energy and pipelines again.
A strong show of force behind @fordnation’s vision for enhanced refinery and a new Canadian pipeline made with Canadian steel, by Canadian workers, exclusively within Canada’s borders.
With thanks to @BobBaileyPC, @SarLamChamber, @mayorofsarnia, @MayorJeffAgar and every skilled trades union for standing with us as we stand up for Canada.
The Northern Shield Energy Corridor will secure our domestic energy supply chain and expand our refining capacity, creating thousands of new jobs and making Sarnia the energy hub of Eastern Canada.
The Northern Shield Energy Corridor will bring 500,000 barrels of Canadian oil per day to refineries in Sarnia, creating good-paying jobs in communities like St. Clair Township and across the country while strengthening our energy security.
We’re building a stronger, more secure and more self-reliant Canada.
Yesterday, Premier @ABDanielleSmith and I unveiled the route of the new 3,300-kilometre Northern Shield Energy Corridor from Hardisty, Alberta to Sarnia, Ontario.
By connecting Alberta oil with Ontario refineries through a pipeline made with Canadian steel, we’re creating jobs and protecting workers in every part of Canada.
Our plan is working.
Under the leadership of @fordnation, Ontario saw over 18,000 nurses join the province's healthcare workforce in 2025 - the largest increase in Ontario's history!
Together, we will continue to grow Ontario's world-class nursing workforce for years to come.
I was horrified to hear of the violence that took place on Lambton College's campus early this morning. My thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims, the injured individuals, and the entire campus community during this tragic time.
Mental health supports are available for anyone who may need them. I thank the leadership at Lambton for their swift response and co-operation with law enforcement to restore safety to the campus.
April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.
It’s the most common cancer in men 15-35, but highly treatable when caught early.

With the Blue Jays heading to the World Series against the LA Dodgers, @CAgovernor Newsom and I have a friendly wager going. Win or lose, we’re thrilled to celebrate great baseball, good neighbours and a friendship between Ontario and California!
💊Great news!
Since our government made changes in 2023 to allow pharmacists to assess and prescribe for 19 common ailments, over two million assessments have been completed across nearly 100% of pharmacies.
From pink eye to UTIs, this means more convenient care close to home.
