@mtmcase You all have been making some great products lately and I have a couple of suggestions. First, the new emergency boxes are nice. The EB2 (deep) looks like it would be the perfect size for a trauma case to keep at the range with tourniquet, Quick Clot gauze, chest seal, compression dressing, etc. Maybe even a couple of each item. It would be great to throw out on the table at the range to have on hand for any accidents or to keep in the vehicle in an easry-to-reach location. Why not make this in red so that it stands out and we can differentiate it from the other boxes? Also, these boxes can be used for a lot of different things, but with limited colors, it's hard to know what's inside each one with no way to label them. Why not create a rectangular depression/area on top that has enough room to put a label? Maybe you could even include or sell some industrial-strength labels that won't come off. Or instead of a just a depression in the box, make some sort of water-tight thin compartment on top where part of an index card or something can be slipped inside to act as a label. I think a couple of changes like these would make the boxes more useful and let the user know what's inside without having to open each box if they own multiple boxes.
@luxemiaa When you get married, the money goes into one big pot and belongs to both of you, shared between both of you. But you're not married. You're playing house together and that means you split the bills equally.
@shaneyyricch I'm a staunch conservative and I find this behavior disgusting, particularly when it's carried out on US government property in the name of celebrating our 250th anniversary. This isn't how we should celebrate our country.
Of course there are people arguing that he was not murdered. Tons of people are calling it self-defense, which it was not. But yeah, there lots of examples of people getting wildly different sentences for the same crimes. Sometimes that's because of the particular state, the criminal's background, etc. Other times, it does seem to be a little whack with a judge's discretion.
The vast, vast majority of people who are homeless are either mentally ill or substance abusers. That has nothing to do with capitalism. There is help available to those that truly want it and that will follow through the steps that are needed. Doesn't mean life will be easy, but help is available.
The shit I see cops doing in Britain is mind-boggling. Yeah, American cops do bad shit but the public, the courts, and most reasonable people think it's bad shit and victims of police crap win lawsuits. The stuff that's happening in Britain seems to be totally accepted within mainstream society.
@francisguy444 No, you STFU. You have an absolutely twisted and moronic take on life if you think it was "systemic white supremacy" that got him convicted instead of the fact that he plunged a knife into someone's heart for simply being pushed. Folks with your mindset are the problem.
You need to brush up on your critical thinking skills. He was on school grounds, so no, he wasn't legally carrying a knife. Also, he was simply pushed. His life was not in danger. You don't get to use lethal force because you were pushed. Rittenhouse's life was in actual danger with multiple assailant's and people that attacked him with weapons like a skateboard and another guy was armed with a pistol that he aimed at Rittenhouse. It's not the same situation at all and you're embarrassing yourself by showing that you don't have the requisite intelligence to understand the distinctions at play.
@nicksortor If that's his family members, no wonder he turned out like he did. Nobody said someone should be able to hit someone else and get away with it. You just don't get to plunge a knife in their heart because they pushed you.
@TeraThomas No he didn't. The rifle was already waiting for him when he got there. And, by the way, he was found not guilty. That's why he went home free.
@whatkamisays@SickoftheSwamp@JoeRose77 You're a whole other level of dumb. You're missing the point. They aren't eating because they are selling their benefits to buy drugs. So, we are not feeding them; we are paying for their fix. How many ways can someone say it before it sinks into that dense noggin of yours?
@whatkamisays Really? How about they use the money they are spending on drugs to buy their own food. You think we should be subsidizing their drug habits?
Oh, I never said people should be banned or censored from saying it. I said that I don't know any reasonable people that use the word. Free speech means stuff exists that we don't want to hear. But just because I and my friends choose NOT to use it doesn't mean that we have no free speech. It just means that we are trying to act with civility.
@mojotre@Aku_700 Nope. I don't bandy that about and I don't know any reasonable people that do. But what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
You are the poster child for absolute idiocy. If someone was going to do something heinous or illegal to other people in a hospital or medical facility, do you think the fact that it's illegal to take a gun inside is going to make people safe? Criminals, by definition, break the law. All you did was stop law-abiding citizens from entering with a weapon, one of whom might be able to stop a criminal from doing something heinous or illegal. I absolutely cannot fathom how the liberal mind works.
