The Class 1A softball championship between McEwen and Eagleville that was originailly scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday will now be played at 3pm.
Full Saturday schedule:
Class 2A - 12:30 p.m. at Shelbyville
Class 1A - 3:00 p.m. at Shelbyville
Class 3A - 10:00 a.m. at Riverdale
Class 4A - 12:30 p.m. at Riverdale

Due to weather playing havoc with the Spring Fling...we'll have state championship softball returning to Chattanooga. Baylor and CCS will resume their DII-AA series tomorrow at Frost Stadium at 2 p.m., with the game picking up in the sixth inning, tied at 3.
Also, Marion County plays tomorrow in the Class 2A title game at Shelbyville Central against Community at 1:30 (Eastern).

Marion County junior Brynna Thomasson is 5-for-5 today with four RBIs. Just a home run shy of the cycle.

Thomasson is 9-for-9 with three home runs and 11 RBIs over her last two games.
