@BStulberg I find a 48hr rule often works for many MSK ‘injuries’. What appears to be a setback in the short term becomes a trigger for growth. In these cases ‘perceived setbacks’ in fact aren’t setbacks at all but actually needed for growth/healing.
Just walked down Kent street in @ottawacity to get some groceries. Nothing but diesel flumes in the air and piss on the ground. I’m disgusted. I’m frustrated. How does this end? #OttawaOccupied
@BStulberg I like how @dr_mcgilchrist put it: things aren’t just ‘either-or’ or ‘both-and’ BUT ‘either-or’ AND ‘both-end’… that’ll make more heads hurt 😉
"This is the central illusion in life: that randomness is risky, that it is a bad thing—and that eliminating randomness is done by eliminating randomness." - @nntaleb
@GregLehman If someone likes something there’s probably a reason behind it (whether we or they know the reason or not!) 🤔 same for why they don’t like something. Simply put, we should probably do a combo of things we like and things we don’t like✌️
