@aobrienfansite Can you tell me whatever happened to Vatican City? I really liked him when he finished second in the 2020 Irish 2000 Guineas. I haven't heard from him since the end of his 3-year-old season. I was hoping he would appear at 4 but that wasn't the case. Thanks. greg in Winnipeg

A different group member stated that in our fractured / politicized society it is often difficult to get consensus (let alone unanimity) about the underlying reasons for underlying for some social issues (including homelessness) which prevents a "Justice" focus at some churches.

Members of Group 3 identified Worship and Mercy as the quadrants where our respective congregations expended their greatest focus and energy. One member expressed the view that his church participated in Mercy deeds since it was a safe / arm's length way to help. @Evangelismonlin

However one member's church was most committed to Justice and its underlying issues. She described her church as a "Socialist Christian" congregation where there was universal agreement that protests and other active support of Justice issues were the proper way to serve others.

When I was a young (less mature) Christian, I felt that the salvation of others was up to me and my "skill" at sharing the Good News. Too often this involved me speaking but rarely listening; rarely interested in forming relationships with those I wanted to share Jesus with.

There is a big difference between maturity and Christian maturity. Christian maturity recognizes that it is The Holy Spirit that leads, guides, brings people to Him and that we are simply to listen to The Holy Spirit and obey.

Two members suggested The Kingdom of God as a possible starting point; another noted that Jesus Himself on the Road to Emmaus referenced the entire Hebrew Bible to prove His deity. Overall, all members were very engaged drawing inspiration from each other's points and suggestions

In many ways, members of Group 3 acted like a jury weighing the merit of each of the six benchmarks as appropriate starting points when discussing / sharing our faith with others. After an initial "vote", each member identified Jesus as the ideal starting point. @Evangelismonlin

Dwight Moody's focus on a person's sinfulness and fallenness was acknowledged; a practice, as noted, also undertaken by Billy Graham. Ultimately as a group we recognized that in today's culture, such a direct focus on sin and fallenness would likely end all discussion of faith.

My small group has nice cross-section of students: a diverse age range and Christian experiences. Many affirmed the importance their church "families" played on them coming to know God. Wow. Thanks to Clayton E. for facilitating. Looking forward to next week @EvangelismOnlin

First webinar was stimulating, the Chat Room was alive, participative and engaging. Easy to see my classmates' passion for sharing the Good News; many eagerly proclaimed their love for God and His inspiration in their lives. Shaping up to be a dynamic semester. @EvangelismOnlin
