As much as it’s made out to be un-cool: Showing up, caring, giving effort, being vulnerable, taking some risks, being unapologetically truthful/authentic, and standing up for what you believe in even if it’s unpopular are all great things we should applaud, not hate on.
Devin Booker looking up at the screen after losing the Finals and saying “damn” is an image that has stuck with me since I saw it cause that’s really how life can be
Turns out, everything our grandparents thought was cool, is cool.
Real food. Guns. Fishing. Hunting. Offensive jokes. Not trusting the government. Raising a family. Peace and quiet. A simple life.

It's insane how predictable it is that if the #Packers have a big 1st half things will look completely different in the 2nd.
Three drives and not a single 1st down.
If y’all want to actually get mad: this was the reason for the L.
Choke at the end didn’t help but come on. Gotta put up points. Had them on the ropes 5 times.
@ShaneSparksBTN & This can be applied later in life by realizing that when you take ownership of your life in all areas (things that are your fault and not) you gain a sense of control. Take accountability- life doesn't happen to you- you happen to life!
@ShaneSparksBTN I think if I had to choose just one I'd say discipline/self accountability. You learn that no one can do the work to get you success on the mat but you from early on. Doing everything the right way, even when it's hard and no one is watching pays dividends.
The wise don’t just learn when they’re young, but all their lives. They identify as a student, not as a person who has attained wisdom. They don’t see themselves as better or apart. They are just like everyone else, still learning, needing to be taught.
