I HAVE BEEN RELEASED...
FOR NOW.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me with legal fees, I'm not out of the woods yet though.
There was a battle between my legal team, the custody sergeants and the @metpoliceuk
The Met wanted to remand me for breach of a section 35 dispersal order (which can't be used against me in the legal sense as I was at the #MarchAgainstAntisemitism in the capacity as a journalist to report for #UrbanScoop).
Luckily the custody sergeants refused the Met Polices wishes, even they could see that was a serious overreach of Policing powers given the circumstances.
I have been given bail conditions (obviously) to prevent me from entering London or partaking in any future demonstrations which is a blatant abuse of my human rights.
The battle continues, I will still need your support to fight these ridiculous charges and bail conditions.
At least I can get back to see my children on my birthday.
