@Dr_Gingerballs I worked as a snowmobile tech. We started to get a ton of new sleds "over heating" but we couldn't replicate it. They added a temp readout in addition to the overheat light. Owners didn't know 212f was in spec cause the coolant was pressurized. They never had that data before.
@jeff_xrp@AmericanIpa8@gotrice2024 Growing up my neighbor had to replace their garage wall because the concrete cracked. They decided to extend the garage/house deeper . They got a survey cause the back would have been close to our land. Survey showed the house was 1' on our land, this was the solution
@DWhite_Defender@CCPISASSH0E This is completely not true. Toyko had 15x more people than DC, but in DC, you are 150x more likely to be a victim of crime. It's not the number of people it's the culture.
@Cretaceous_Dave Yea the whole "they are all dying" was such an unnecessary plot point. The need to go to the Island wasn't effected by it. The mosa migrated there anyway, and the quetz could just migrate back there for nesting. titanosaurs were there already. It really only limits the future
@Krusty935@collectjurassic This is such a hypocritical take. Tracing the papo outline is flat-out plagiarism 100%, in its simplest form. While I can understand the moral implications of AI using other art without thier permission, what AI does is miles away from plagiarism when compared to this.
@DirtysBurner@LaurenWitzkeDE They only hold the right to use the property for public uses, such as a side walk, etc. in most cases the owner is still required to maintain that land(mow, shovel), even if a side walk is put in, and can even be responsible for fixing damaged sidewalks, because it's thier land.
@DirtysBurner@LaurenWitzkeDE In most cases the property owner technically owns to the curb, or they can own to the center of the road or even the entire road, if the property extends to the other side. You are confusing public use setback With state/county/town actually owning the property. The do not
@CubHouston62@LoesbyForIdaho@Sinfulskin2 The devisity HR wanted was Race based not gender, as the union was already 50/50 in a field that it's typically 75/25 m/f. They picked the black woman over me for her race. I was far more qualified. Yes Technically she was "qualified" but barely & only got the job cause her race.
@CubHouston62@LoesbyForIdaho@Sinfulskin2 The union was already almost 50/50 M/F at the time, and diverse to begin with. HR wanted racial diversity & highered a black woman who was barely qualified. I was clearly more qualified, as i quickly surpassed her for promotions & tasked w/ preping her work. Even w/ her seniority
@CubHouston62@LoesbyForIdaho@Sinfulskin2 So I've been a victim of "DEI". With it being confirmed by union pres that HR overroad cause the union wasn't "diverse". I've seen it 1st hand & it happens. I grew up on SSI survivors benifits, fatherless, exposed to addicts. I'm where I'm cause of my work, not my race.
@CubHouston62@LoesbyForIdaho@Sinfulskin2 A year prior to getting my job, I interviewed, was offered it by management & had it pulled by HR for a "more diverse higher" per union pes. later they fast tracked me, renegotiated the contract, allowed me a promotion before her, and she had to resign for falsified timecards.
@Finhead83 @RedDogAle @kubectlget@BananaMediaX@HowThingsWork_ I was trying to dumb it down a bit. Yes it is what you can "Resonably occupy" in the use of the property and not necessarily enclosed. But that leaves ambiguity. A roof top deck isn't necessarily enclosed, and you rights would cover a small distance above, but not 100s of ft
@WedgeDAntilles@omegafreelancer The entire reason they give them names has nothing to do with the movie or shows themself. It's IP driven. When Rebor made JP inspired figures Uni sued them and lost. Animal designs can't be CRd. Theyre only protected for a few year. Give that design a name, now its a character
@Cretaceous_Dave@WedgeDAntilles It had so much potential and the left so much on the table in terms of world/story building. Along with quick switches in plot and pacing made it feel so jumbled and half finished. The problems in production clearly show in the final product.
@Cretaceous_Dave@WedgeDAntilles Same here. I remember sitting in the movie theater thinking as a teenager. "WTF did I just watch?". So much it took me 15 years to watch it a second time. And he wasn't because it was inherently bad. it's incomplete. It's like a book that someone randomly ripped pages out of.
