We the staff of Liberty Hall: The Legacy of Marcus Garvey extend our condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Claude "Big Stone" Sinclair who made his transition on Tuesday, April 28.

Yesterday, we were honored to welcome Her Excellency Tania López Larroque, Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, for a courtesy visit to Liberty Hall: The Legacy of Marcus Garvey.
Her Excellency was given a comprehensive tour of the MMGMM by our Director, Faith Anderson.
Please be advised that the Institute of Jamaica will cease operations on at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, to facilitate staff participation in the General Elections.
We will resume regular operations on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
