And to be competitive to attract young highly educated and intelligent people we need to offer some sort of telework. Otherwise we’ll lose good applicants to the private sector. So this narrative isn’t accurate about Feds twiddling their thumbs at home.

@pmarca Just heard your interview on Rogan. Just wanted to clarify that not all agencies are only coming in 2 days a month. In fact, even before Covid we were allowed up to three days telework. But at least in our office, we are very productive. So please keep that in mind.

And during Covid our numbers show that we were very productive and many of us, me included, worked longer hours because you lose track of time and don’t realize you have gone past your usual quitting time.
