Northwest Indiana is going to have a new priest!
Please pray for Deacon Will O'Donnell, who will be ordained a priest this Saturday, June 6, at the Cathedral of the Holy Angels at 10:30 a.m., along with Nicholas Emsing, who will be ordained to the transitional diaconate.
Ordinations are just one week from today! Bishop McClory will ordain Deacon Will O'Donnell to the priesthood and Nicholas Emsing to the transitional diaconate. All are welcome!
The ordination Mass will also be livestreamed on the Diocese of Gary YouTube channel.
Deputy Samuelson, a Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus, was able to join in the Holy Hour from his hospital room via livestream.

As news broke of the shooting of LaPorte County Deputy Jon Samuelson at Franciscan Hospital, prayers were already being offered at the scene and beyond.
The community, including his family, came together this week to pray a Holy Hour for Deputy Samuelson's healing.
