This is a disgrace.

A Gulf War Marine veteran named Albert O’Toole who served this country, took a blast that left him with TBI, and was later diagnosed with Alzheimer’s was beaten by his aide Matthew Cox inside the New York State Veterans Home in Montrose, New York.

His wife Angela Sangro became concerned after seeing unexplained bruises and heavy sedation. She installed a hidden camera. The footage shows the aide yanking food out of Albert’s hands, grabbing him by the neck, throwing him into a chair, punching him, and striking him in the head with a broom while he cried out in pain. No one came to help.

The state fired the abuser.
But the federal VA? Still has him employed. Still paying him while the case drags on.

You make veterans fight through hell just to get the benefits and compensation they earned with their blood and sacrifice. You move fast to cut or reduce what’s owed to them.

But when one of your own is caught on camera assaulting a defenseless veteran? You keep him on the federal payroll like it’s nothing.

@SecVetAffairs you talk about accountability. Here it is. Fire this man from the VA now. No pay. No protection. No more dragging it out.

- The other is Walmart Great Value brand, it has about 16 ingredients in it

Both are just ‘strawberry ice cream’ but the Walmart brand has ingredients that cause:

- Gastrointestinal inflammation, bloating, or IBS-like symptoms
- Gut disruptions
- Thickeners that make the ice cream not melt that cause digestive issues

YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP: Last night at the Village of Wilmette (Illinois) appearance review commission, they spent time on “brick color” as profession architects from the Eden’s Plaza have to ask permission to redo their sign at the shopping mall.

These meetings are not live streamed or video taped but an audio tape exists available only by FOIA. Our videos are the only video of these public meetings,

This village is trying to micromanage every aspect of home remodeling & construction in the area. These are seven unelected people who make recommendations to the village board.

We want to streamline & lower the cost of remodeling to improve commerce in Illinois. This board should be eliminated today as there is NO VALUE ADDED. .

Another massive L for Chicago.

In 2014, George Lucas picked Chicago for a $1 billion privately funded museum for his legendary collection - Star Wars artifacts, Norman Rockwell paintings, etc. Zero taxpayer dollars.

A left-wing nonprofit (“Friends of the Parks”) sued, claiming a parking lot was sacred “public trust land.” After years of delays, Lucas said screw it and took the whole thing to LA.

Opening this September. It looks incredible.

Meanwhile, Chicago rammed through the Obama Presidential Center on 19.3 acres of historic Jackson Park.
• Originally ~$300M → now $850M (nearly 3x over)
• Promised 2021 opening → now opening June 2026 (5 years late)
• Promised $470M endowment so taxpayers wouldn’t get stuck → only ~$1M deposited

One museum Chicago blocked.

Chicago is on fire with crime, carjackings, teen takeovers, and now a driver plowing into cops, while Governor Pritzker seems more focused on Trump than the job right here at home.

As an Illinois resident, I am tired of watching taxpayers get crushed with higher gas taxes, property taxes, and a $7.2B tax hike while our communities keep paying the price.

Leadership is not tweets and insults, it is results, and Chicago and Illinois deserve better. 🇺🇸🔥
