Western Civilization is doomed, unless the core weakness of suicidal empathy is recognized and actions are taken that are hard, but necessary for survival
JitoSOL <> SOL looping on Kamino is one of the top places to earn extra yield on $SOL ๐
(Capacity just increased and $JTO rewards boosted by 50% to 18k $JTO weekly, so now's a good time to explore this strategy)
With the introduction of the Jito Market, users can loop JitoSOL up to 10 times rather than 5 times on other markets.
The yield earned is effectively the spread between the JitoSOL staking rate and the SOL borrowing rate times the amount of leverage applied.
In general, it's a good idea to watch this market closely and enter when the spread is high.
The max APY is earned when the loan-to-value is at 90% and is shown below below depending on the staking and borrowing APY.
Currently, the SOL borrowing APY on the market is 6.16% and the JitoSOL staking APY 8.25% which results in a max APY of 27%.
As SOL is borrowed against a SOL liquid staking token (JitoSOL), the overall SOL exposure remains the same. The position therefore isn't liquidated by SOL price changes.
In addition, @KaminoFinance uses smart contract backing as their pricing oracle. Therefore, should JitoSOL experience a short term depeg against SOL on exchanges, Multiply positions won't get liquidated.
We'll be posting a full report on how Kamino Multiply works so make sure to subscribe to On Chain Times if you haven't already๐
