Yes, we have issues at the border. No, these issues aren’t new to the Biden Administration. Yes, more people are attempting to come across the border now than under previous administrations, but the borders aren't more "open" now, except for Biden ending the harsh "remain in Mexico policy" and COVID restrictions expiring.

The problem is that Republicans don’t want to fix the problem. Their goal isn’t to try and solve the issue now. Their goal is to use the issue to make Biden and Democrats look bad. They want to use the border to get Trump elected and then try and fix the problem when Trump is in office. The problem is, they didn’t fix the problem last time Trump was in office, even when they had both chambers of Congress.

Our media does a terrible job of allowing him to spew falsehoods and spread conspiracies without calling him out on them. This is not the time to platform Trump like he is some regular politician. Roddie Edmonds was a Master Sergeant in the United States Army. In late 1944, Edmonds was captured in the Battle of the Bulge and held at a German POW camp. In January 1945, the Nazis ordered all Jewish-American POWs to step forward. Edmonds, the highest-ranking noncommissioned officer at the camp, ordered all 1,000 US soldiers to step forward, regardless of their religion.

A German commander demanded that Edmonds identify the Jewish soldiers. Edmonds replied, "We are all Jews here." The commander threatened to shoot him if he did not comply. Edmonds refused, saying, "If you shoot, you'll have to shoot us all." The commander backed down.

Edmonds' actions are credited with saving the lives of 200 Jewish soldiers. In 2015, he was posthumously named Righteous Among the Nations by Yad Vashem and was the first American soldier to receive the honor.

Edmonds' story is a reminder of the courage and compassion of those who stood up to the Nazis during World War II. He is a true hero, and his legacy will never be forgotten.

Today Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene called for more mental hospitals and drug rehab centers to be funded by the federal and state governments.

I find it a bit strange that she’s making these calls after being just one of 20 members of Congress who voted against the bipartisan ‘Restoring Hope for Mental Health and Well-Being Act’ that would bolster access to crisis care, provide millions of dollars in grants for community mental health services, and reauthorize making high-quality housing and services available that would be dedicated to substance abuse recovery.

The bill passed the House 402 - 20 and MTG was one who voted against it.

- it grew every year under Trump's Presidency
- grew to highest level under Trump since WWII
- voted against Biden budgets which lowered the deficit

Rs care about one thing - creating a recession so Biden loses. That's it.
