紹介する切手は「おもてなしの花シリーズ第8集」(2017年発行)から「クチナシ」で、梅雨のさなか道を歩くと漂ってくる甘く濃厚な香りは春のジンチョウゲ、秋のキンモクセイと並んで良い香りを放ちます。

These stamps feature Victoria Tower in St Peter Port, Guernsey, which was constructed in 1848 to honour the island’s historic first visit by a reigning monarch - Queen Victoria, and Prince Albert - in August 1846. This was a momentous occasion for Guernsey; the Queen’s arrival represented a strong symbolic bond between the Crown and the island’s people.
