Well, OK, I guess it all depends on your worldview; you can see your place in the world as something to defend from those who might want to take some or all of it from you—or you can see it as a grand adventure, a place to make dreams come to fruition for yourself & others.

Phil Lesh was my brother. Not by blood but still by family. I’ve heard so many of you tell me that the Grateful Dead changed your life. Yeah, well… Phil Lesh changed mine.
Thank you Phil. I’ll miss you, darn it.
Sandy Koufax earned World Series MVP honors along with his fourth @Dodgers ring on this date in 1965 before catching up with Vin Scully. It just might be the best three minutes you spend on this app today.
@NYCTSubway I just sent you a message. Today was the worst interaction I have had, but every day riding the 7 I am verbally abused by the MTA employees. Today was the first time one attempted to be physical
@MTA - so, your employees can physically block my way and then call me names? What a joke! You have panhandlers blocking the stairs and hallways, but you care about where I walk?!? Be better!
@Derrick_NYC@suzie_mae Yea, I never accused any one of anything. I just said the traffic patterns are bad and cause more traffic. It isn’t the employees fault, they are just doing their job. But, that doesn’t mean it was or is a good decision. But, nothing to do with the people on the ground
@Derrick_NYC@suzie_mae I hope they double the employees! Triple them! I just don’t like the flow of traffic. All are welcome under the tent my man. I just want them to have a more efficient traffic pattern. Nothing more, nothing less. Peace and love to you ✌️
@Derrick_NYC Yea, I dont really care about what you think. I addressed this tweet to the MTA, not to you. I take the 7 everyday and I know what myself and other regular passengers experience. I hope no one gets fired, but they are creating more traffic and more of a mess. Good day
@Derrick_NYC I am not trying to get anyone fired, I am trying to get to the subway platform without standing in unnessary traffic. We don’t need people to tell us where to walk. They need to let the flow of traffic…..actually flow! They are creating unnecessary traffic. Period
@NYCTSubway Again, that simply isn’t true. They put up dividers along the walk ways, which causes tremendous traffic and backups. They blocked off stairwells to divert traffic, causing more issues. This is NYC- we don’t need people to tell us how to walk. We need people keeping us safe.
@Derrick_NYC I totally disagree, but if assume that you are right…..why can’t they monitor for safety without yelling at everyone how to walk? And by blocking off stairways? Why does this have anything to do with safety? They can monitor without ruining all walkways and traffic patterns
@NYCTSubway I commute every single day on the 7 and traffic has become SIGNIFICANTLY worse since their arrival. They have blocked off walk ways, closed down stairs, and caused total havoc. We dont need people telling us how to walk. We need people monitoring for safety- this is NOT it
