Big upset in South Dakota high school hoops tonight. Unranked Watertown knocks off #2 SF Roosevelt 71-68 in Watertown. Riders had the ball with just over seven seconds left and couldn’t get a shot off. Roosevelt clawed its way back from an 11pt deficit with 1:30.

At 4:03pm today’s my ESPN phone app delivered a notice that the USD game had gone final against Drake. At 4:08pm I’m still watching it on my ESPN+ app with 2:23 to go. It went final on my TV at 4:13! That’s one long delay!
