@GMaune Two observations: we have much work to do, and we need not to lose track of our empathy for those who are ignorant. Self reflection tells us in how many areas we are. No shame in ignorance: lots if we hang on to it.
@NFB_voice I encounter inaccessible websites enough that I consider the web more a challenge than a wonderful opportunity for fun. I'm glad we have websites, but I wish they were as easy for blind people as for the rest of the consuming community.
@NFB_voice I am so excited to have under my fingers what I might otherwise take for granted. It is my bread and butter; it is my literacy, it is my way to let people in and to let them know me.
@RepBlaine One of the best things America did for me was offer me an education on the promise that I would try to be productive. I have been immeasurably enriched, and I would like the think our society has as well.
@RepBlaine I'll let those more qualified argue the authority, but why should anyone have to go into debt to give America the competitive advantage of education?
@NFB_voice Many of us must come to think of ourselves as beautiful, not in the manner of one who is vain but with the humility and understanding of one who stands proud to be a full part of the human race.
@RepBlaine How unfortunately partisan. Nice men shooting arrows at nice men is not the way we make progress. Is lavish a term we use only when the other party has the White House? Again, a nice man not being the person he is, and why?
@NFB_voice Our Secretary of State believes all voters only have the right to show up, stand in line, and vote on the one day designated for it. This is both sad and unfair.
@NFB_voice I got to see the true heart of those who want us to have a safe, easy, and secure voting experience. I was impressed by our public officials, and they do serve we the public.
