Used to follow Chelsea over Land and Sea. Still go to nearly all the home games and European aways. Used to run coaches to Away games when we were crap!
I sometimes wonder why my funds are not at the level they should be.
Then I look at my ticket stubs from The Chelsea European away games I have attended and it becomes slightly more obvious!
Loved (nearly) every minute of it.
Not watched any of the Champions League Final, but just seen the news that Arsenal lost on Penalties.
Just to make you Arsenal fans feel better, it only took me five years to get over Chelsea losing on Penalties in Moscow but then winning it twice in Munich & Porto helped!
I think you’re missing the point Cath.
They are making sure they have an experienced interim manager for around Christmas time.
I really hope it all works out well with Alonso, but I don’t think they will ever let someone more qualified than them get on with their job.
@CFCCath I have been saying for weeks that they will await the final home game or away game at Sunderland before announcing next seasons prices so they don’t get a backlash to go with everything else they have screwed up!
Like you, I just don’t trust them.
@sirichkirby I travelled up early evening last night, just as much for the cheap train fare and it saved getting the 7.30 train. Luckily my parents live in London, so don’t have to worry about an hotel.
@richschaller54@cfcunofficial I was going to comment similar. Sadly in my opinion, all the various groups are wasting their time. I am sure everyone expected today’s meeting to be a discussion about forward ticket plans. The club had already decided the outcome and wasted everyone’s time.
@EuropeanBob26 Me thinks next season may well be my last, possibly this season if a big price increase. The enjoyment has gone and detest our owners.
Ready for I can’t be a real fan. But we have been through more than many of those commenting will ever experience!
London Bound for a football double header.
Today it is Slough v @TUFC1899 with over 600 travelling who need a win in a push for the national league and tommorow it’s @ChelseaFC v Man City.
Looking forward to meeting up with my mates at both games
It’s going to be a long weekend!
@TORQUAYTALK Looking forward to it.
Slough on Saturday with the Yellow army and meeting some of or Slough mates and Chelsea v Man City on Sunday. It’s going to be a long weekend!
2 of my favourite Chelsea away games v Man City and both years we finished up as Champions.
The 84 game being one of the first live televised games outside of division one. (I could be wrong!).
We won both games.
Massive followings for both games.

Brighton away in 1983 as a 16 year old is a game that will always be remembered. The incredible following Chelsea had that day is something most of us of a certain age will not forget capped with a good result and a little pitch invasion.
#chelsea
@MWTMWFC It was a poor turn out for Chelsea standards. In fairness we had also just had Blackburn away.
We were treated like crap up there and I think that’s why everyone was so up for the return leg.
As bad nights go following Chelsea, this one is right up there.
Middlesbrough away in the Play Offs 1988.
Crap journey, crap result and treated like crap.

Note: This will appear on Chelsea face value tickets facebook page with in the hour. It’s not there photo!
FA Cup final day. Probably 1997. Photo taken down the North End Road.
What a day, didn’t think it would get any better following Chelsea, it’s fair to say we have had a few good days since.

Seems like a lifetime ago.
Some Chelsea supporters and dare I say owners, will never realise the different ways we tried to raise money to safeguard our future.

@Barrett01Robert Cheers Robert, it’s always good to look back on the past experiences we had, maybe not the same success, but certainly much fun was had!
I have kept posting pictures as most seem to enjoy looking at them.
Back in the 80s & 90s when you went to a Chelsea Player of the Year Dance and normal fans could attend. You even had a player on your table.
God knows how much these clowns would charge now?
