Domestic #LPG prices have been increased by Rs 29 per 14.2kg #cylinder, marking the second hike in the last three months. With the latest revision, the price of a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder in #Delhi has gone up to Rs 942 from Rs 913. The revised rates came into effect on June 7, news agency PTI reported, citing industry sources.

No dry out has been reported, and LPG supply remains stable with over 51 lakh refills delivered yesterday. Online booking has reached 98 percent and OTP based delivery 92 percent. Commercial LPG supply has been restored to around 70 percent, including bulk supply for key sectors. Since March 14, nearly 1 lakh tonnes have been supplied, including 6,700 tonnes yesterday, equivalent to about 3.5 lakh 19 kg cylinders

Availability of 5 kg cylinders has been expanded, with over 10 lakh sold since March 23 and 1.06 lakh sold yesterday. Over 2,000 awareness camps have been held, distributing 20,000 cylinders. Natural gas supply to fertiliser plants has been increased to 95 percent, while CGD companies are ensuring full supply to priority sectors. Around 3.97 lakh PNG connections have been activated, 4.3 lakh consumers registered, and over 18,000 LPG connections surrendered via the https://t.co/Zz9leFvS80 portal

Oil Marketing Companies have organised around 1,600 awareness camps, distributing nearly 14,000 cylinders. About 1.1 lakh cylinders were sold yesterday, taking total sales to nearly 8.9 lakh since March 23. Domestic needs remain prioritised, with fertiliser plants receiving about 95 percent gas supply. Petrol and diesel supplies are stable with no dry out, as refineries run at full capacity with adequate crude. The government has directed diversion of C3 and C4 streams to the LPG pool to boost supply, while allowing limited use for petrochemicals.

Enforcement has been intensified to curb malpractices. Around 4,000 raids were conducted recently, with about 56,000 cylinders seized in the past few days. Oil Marketing Companies have issued 1,770 show cause notices, suspended 51 distributors and acted against 175. Supplies of petrol, diesel and LPG remain steady, and citizens are advised to avoid panic and rely on official information

🔹Panic booking and hoarding were triggered by misinformation. The average domestic #LPG delivery cycle remains around two and a half days

🔹Delivery Authentication Code (DAC) system has been implemented to prevent the diversion. This system requires customers to provide a code to the delivery person to successfully receive their cylinder

🔹As a temporary demand management measure, the minimum gap between LPG bookings has been increased from 21 days to 25 days
