4 year techie post alongside a PostDoc. Get acquainted with Gladiss. Why ever would you not want to work with us?? #soilscience#gasmeasurements@SoilEcolUoM
Took this photo 1 year ago today. The day we went into lockdown. Some of my colleagues haven't been back since....how befitting that I got my vaccination invite today. Another step closer to fieldwork again.... @SoilEcolUoM@KritzlerUlly@Debistator_452
Today I basically destroyed an ecosystem. I power washed Gladiss, which was way overdue. She was covered in moss and a biofilm of some sort. It's been a long year of standing still.... @SoilEcolUoM#SpringClean#overduejobs
The 'lab' is setup at home so I don't loose my samples we harvested just before the shutdown and keep checking the ECM root colonisation...! I have work for few weeks for sure 😅
Congratulations to Jasmine @Arctic_Brownie who passed her MPhil viva today! Best wishes for your PhD at Sheffield with @GarethPhoenix and big thanks to the examiners Richard and @NickOstle1#VivaSurvivor
In collaboration w/ @SoilandGas, #willrunforsoil crew is hosting a soil-themed strava art event to celebrate #WorldSoilDay! Go out for a soil-themed run, bike, hike, walk Dec. 5th-7th, post to @strava, & share on twitter! Make art w/ your gps or take a photo of soil on your way!
On Friday we enjoyed an introduction from Dr Filipa Cox to her project investigating how ecological trade-offs drive ectomycorrhizal fungal community assembly. #Soil#Science#Fungi@UoM_EES
