@TranmereRovers Good luck Darrell. A great appointment for Tranmere. Has 2 promotions from L2 as manager of Bristol Rovers and Port Vale. Also a top bloke who I'm sure all their fans will get behind. Hope it works out, apart from when playing the Gas of course.
@RATW_official One of the best shows on TV and this was a fantastic series. Possibly the best yet. Beautiful and interesting locations and a wonderful group of contestants.
Beth and Eric had best get the kettle on - we're heading back to Latimer Crescent for a brand new full series of Two Doors Down!

@Official_BRFC Crewe. Points were still massively important then, and to win with 2 very late goals was special and important. After that game we W9, D1, L1.
@bbcbristolsport@Official_BRFC 1) Although not transfer listed, is it possible certain players like Howley and Dewsbury might go out on loan before the end of August?
2) How many signings can we expect this summer and is that number dependent on our transfer listed players finding new clubs?
@AlexManning14@SirSebastian20 I think his lack of assists this season was mainly due to the poor quality of the strikers he was creating chances for at Cheltenham. In his last full season in L2 at Walsall in 2023/24 he got 15 goals & 12 assists in all competitions. At 26 he's just coming into his prime years.
@bristolbluegas@Official_BRFC You could be right. It will be interesting to see if he looks any better after a full pre season at Rovers. I'm just not sure what he brings to the team. He's not a combative midfielder like Mola or Smallwood, and he's not a goal scoring, creative midfielder like Leigh.
@LukeDUTG@Official_BRFC Fair enough, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's loaned out in January. I hope he proves me wrong but I think we need better if we're going to challenge for promotion next season.
@bristolbluegas@Official_BRFC I know, 20 appearances for Rovers and I'm not sure he's had a good game. He's not terrible, but he doesn't do anything particularly well, and we always seem to look better when he's not on the pitch. Not even SE is going to get every signing right, and that one hasn't worked IMO.

No big surprises. Personally, I'd have added Ryan Howley, Ollie Dewsbury, and Ryan De Havilland to the transfer / loan list.
Howley and Dewsbury aren't ready to be part of a L2 promotion squad, and De Havilland is the one SE signing that just hasn't worked out in my opinion.
Following the conclusion of the 2025/26 Sky Bet League Two campaign, Bristol Rovers Football Club can confirm the retained list heading into the 2026/27 season.
