@MegaSoccerDad@PaulSpacey Dembele, Yamine Lamal, Lee Kang In, Kubo, Arda Guler, Willian, Bernardo Silva who famously doesn’t do any physical training and yet… to a degree, even Bruno Fernandes, Vitinha, Kvarakhelia, Cole Palmer, Musiala, Michael Olise… so many that change teams when they play
@uAtheBest0219 He’s the captain, he’s forced to represent the team and didn’t he say he will discuss with the team? I hope they refuse to keep talking to the media and focus on winning games only. It’s not a circus, they shouldn’t have to be distracted by any drama
@MicahS22@marshallcotiger@StanUsmnt That’s one game… this World Cup so far is showing that the gap is tightening across all confederations because everyone is learning systems so now the differentiator will be again, the technical players.
@sibinmohan I’m sure you know the answer but the world doesn’t invest in woman football. It’s picking up so we will see. But for men’s football, you can clearly see how the sport focus on creativity and technical skills way more than drilling learned tactics and that will make a difference
@MicahS22@marshallcotiger@StanUsmnt It’s not about competitive balance, it’s about getting players who understand the pressure of being relegated and use it to be competitive in the game for their national teams. In a sports where everyone plays, if we can’t win, we need to analyze why
@del_mare0123 Honestly it was one of the best interviews I’ve heard though. If he can make the team believe in their abilities, Korea will go deep in this tournament!
@sportsraplus What real strengths? Come on, let’s stop the fallacy. Europe has fodder teams too. Czech and Bosnia, both from playoffs, some eliminating Italy, all drew or lost to the AFC. Switzerland who qualified first drew against Qatar. These teams definitely don’t deserved pot 2
@cagiago_ For who? For me it’s been the best World Cup so far that shows Europe doesn’t have any supremacy in football based on the first games. And it’s great to see other countries catching up in terms of footballing systems and tactics
