One thing the rise of streaming music lost is the simple joy of tuning in to your favorite radio station on a random Tuesday and finding out a band you like is in the studio in your hometown.

You can hear them talk, which you never really heard them talk before.

And they banter with your favorite DJ - bliss.

Then they play some acoustic versions of favorite songs and upcoming songs.

And maybe even have the DJ play a few of their favorite songs that aren’t normally played on the radio.

The “national playlist” has killed local DJ’s. And streaming has been a scourge to fans of bands.
