Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night's shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy. It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay.
@mjfree I can understand wanting to think it was staged. It probably did help secure his win. That said, I’m not sure how it would be feasible to graze him with a bullet as well as the actual killing of the shooter.
@NotAvgLiberal I agree with some points, but not all are accurate and/or validated. I get being mad. I don’t think it is fair to lump everyone together and judge them. We should focus on holding our leaders more accountable to us on the promises made and manner in which they represent us.
Imagine beefing with the Pope all week and having your sycophants claim the Pope doesn't know the Bible only for one of your sycophants to come out here and quote a fake Bible verse from a movie.
Embarrassing.
