@VIK19941@WrestleFeatures@EBischoff completely agree. Some of it comes down to WWE marketing being too good sometimes... Hard to put someone new over the "ride or die" vibe longtime fans can have. I always thought THAT was what killed Vince's WCW attempt (Buff was just the exclamation point) .
@VIK19941@WrestleFeatures@EBischoff fair point, though I'd argue that nostalgia colors perception a bit. One of the biggest challenges I can see with both goes back to the double-edged sword of the part-timer tending to be the group focal point. The absence of presence, perhaps?
@VIK19941@WrestleFeatures All due respect to @EBischoff , but one of the more accurate criticisms of his work was letting a revolutionary and dominant faction run a bit too long...
@Rosemary_TNA just saw the Mr. Elegance bit. As Dr. Frank-n-Furter might say:

now he might help your ... ambition.
Sorry, Dude looks like Rocky ....
@davemeltzerWON It's all opinion now. The only hard numbers are gate & merch sales. Merch wasn't a thing in the old days, and the gate isn't as easy to define these days, so 🤷
@davemeltzerWON All due respect, but what about the whole TNA/Highlanders issue a few years back? There was no TNA lawsuit, and the only blowback was internal...
