@walkingfutbol 2. I agree the tackle should have no place in Walking Football. The Over 60s international was generally played in a good spirit. I hope we can meet & have a beer in Barcelona next year. You will then see we are not that bad.

Incredible Day.
Wales Over 60 s walking football win 3-2 away to Italy in Pisa Serie B stadium.
Italy had 3 ex professionals playing, 2 whom had won Italian Cup finals.
The best player they both said they had play against before today was Maradonna.
Village boy done good.

@walkingfutbol 1. I agree that this is an illegal tackle & looks bad on a photograph. If you watch the match video on the Italian MediaChannel website, you will see the Wales player stretched to win the ball. The Italian player was not injured as the tackle is very slow.

@walkingfutbol The photo in question is from the over 60s game which was refereed by an Italian Official. The Welsh official refereed the over 50s game.
It was a brilliant day enjoyed by all who took part. It’s sad that you are trying to spoil what was a great day.

Really enjoyed tonight’s entertaining local derby between @CefnFforestAFC and @pentwynmawrafc . Superbly refereed by @chrisparker3547, allowed the game to flow, and ensured the game was about the players and not the referee.

17.5€ Buffet for all you can eat & drink.
Couldn't stay too long, Had to return to apartment by dusk.
Referee elbowed me in 3rd game & broke my glasses. 150€ to repair.

An improved 2nd half performance gave @CefnFforestAFC a 2-0 victory over a decent Crickhowell team.
Good to see a few ex stalwarts of the club watching today and being impressed by an exciting young side.
