Interesting decision reported here in which the Ontario CA declined to deal with the issue of whether a will was valid in the lifetime of the Tx (who possessed capacity) on grounds of alleged undue influence, concluding such challenges must wait until death.

Yesterday, @MoJGovUK announced an extension to the measures allowing the remote witnessing of wills until 31 January 2024 for those forced to isolate from Covid or another vulnerability.

Important news here. An extension of the remote witnessing provisions is looking very likely as I understand it. The Law Society are seeking input from their members.
