We are a local authority school based in Dumfries and Galloway. We have 4 Primary classes and a Nursery which delivers ELC. Our partnership school is Twynholm.

Another school year over, not only marked by our P7 pupils moving on but our Head Teacher Mr Riley is off to a new post in August. Good luck to all and happy holidays!

@GBrydsonD_G We had a great last day, games morning followed by a water extravaganza (yes, Mr Riley and Mr Irving we’re soaked), picnic lunch and either play outside or movie/just dance challenge indoors. Definitely exhausted now!

Everyone has had s’mores, biscuits and juice for supper, danced to crazy music provided by the children, played manhunt and told spooky stories😱 Bedtime has come, everyone is in tents, not quiet yet but not too noisy! #Primary7 #Leavers

P7 Leavers & families’ BBQ tonight. Burgers from Hendersons Butchers, Castle Douglas. Tesco donated juice & rolls (in the boxes) & Mrs Irving has used the remaining ticket money to buy sauces, coleslaw & salad. Lettuce was grown in the school raised beds. #transition #farewell
