Join Sandi Toksvig on a journey through lesbian London, to uncover the history of the Gateways club and the women who drank, danced and loved inside it.
Our film won the audience award at Toronto's Inside Out festival last weekend! All down to our fabulous contributors, cast and crew - thanks to everyone who has helped along the way!
LAST CALL!!! Did you go to the Gateways? Do you have any photos or souvenirs? From any era whatsoever. Especially interested in the closing party as we know everyone was encouraged to take memories home (we remember talking about the Gateways sign!)Our film needs you!!!
Great progress is being made with the film and we'll hopefully have more news soon about where you'll be able to watch it!
A call out to anyone who was at the Gateways for the closing weekend (21st / 22nd Sept 1985) - do you have any mementos from the club? If so get in touch!!
