For those who knew Njambi Koikai personally, we saw how brutal the Endometriosis journey was for her.
My first self-organized show, 2016, MJC, with @NairobiHorns. Njambi donated all the sound/tech from her store and even offered to manage the gig. She collapsed mid-show and was taken to hospital. I only learnt about it after I came off stage. That’s the first day I heard the word Endometriosis.
For all fighting, standing up, speaking out: may your load be light. Don’t let politics get in the way.
