@JayDanielsMVP Who would you rather have under a cheap contract for 5 years? A game wrecking defensive player or a RB? Our defense was historically abysmal last season. Get younger and faster on the cheap. We shouldn't think about offense at 7.

@JayDanielsMVP Name 1 or 2 FA defensive players that you would sign or trade for and *why* you'd justify their high price and/or draft picks we'd have to surrender when you can draft a stud defensive guy on a cheap contract for up to 5 years instead of a RB. Stick to defense at 7.

@JPFinlayNBCS How important is signing Pierce, not just as someone opposite Terry, but as a potential replacement if we move on from him after next season with that big cap number. @LoganPaulsenNFL said he's kinda redundant to Terry. IMHO that's a long-term benefit, not a bad thing.

@JayDanielsMVP @john_keim Nothing wrong with adding some lean muscle to help with the constant pounding but he's never gonna be built like Tebow like some people want. More muscle wouldn't have prevented any of the injuries he had this season anyway.

@JayDanielsMVP @NFLonNBC Objective take- 19 other teams hired a new OC and Kliff wasn't one of them. His offense is not in demand. But hiring first time NFL play callers on both sides of the ball does increase the pressure on DQ for sure.

@JayDanielsMVP Can't envision us upgrading the defense in FA to the point you don't grab the BPA on that side of the ball over a WR. We need studs on defense, starting on DL first and working our way back. Our best player on D is always Payne in a contract year.

@JPFinlayNBCS When I saw that stat I originally thought it was an error or had a typo. Not only that but he did it in fewer games than QBs of this era have. With all due respect to Sonny, I'd like to see that record fall. Jayden you're on the clock!

@JPFinlayNBCS Do you think DQ bought himself another 2 years instead of just 1 year if the organization really didn't want to lose Blough and DQ agreed to promote him knowing it's a big risk and then leveraged lack of talent on defense for why he couldn't land an experienced DC?
