🚨🗣️ José Mourinho on the VAR double standard between Lionel Messi and Folarin Balogun:
"When I speak about the system, people call me crazy. They say Mourinho is always complaining. But today, the whole world saw the script with their own eyes.
Folarin Balogun makes an accidental step, a completely natural movement of a striker fighting for the ball, and VAR calls the referee like a crime has been committed. A straight red card. He misses the biggest game of his life.
But when the poster boy of FIFA, Lionel Messi, puts his studs into the calf of an opponent, the VAR room suddenly loses their internet connection. The referee goes blind. It is a completely different rulebook. If Balogun's name was Folarin Messi, he would not have even received a warning. It is not about the severity of the foul anymore; it is entirely about the name printed on the back of the shirt. It is a disgrace."
Norway was recently ranked the 6th happiest country on Earth.
After some of their people spent the day at CitiField watching the Mets, they now rank 19th. 🇳🇴😢
You know what’s wild?
Indiana is the only team left in the College Football Playoff that won a conference championship this season.
Heck, they’re the only team that even played in a conference championship this season.
Wait…
Since the CFP expanded to 12 teams, Indiana is the only conference champion to make the CFP semifinals.

Not sure why I watch the Messi Soccer League (@MLS ). The refs are absolutely horrible. A yellow card bc a @cfmontreal player is so unathletic to keep his footing? @USLChampionship is a much better product.
Indiana only lost two games all season, both on the road, to Ohio State and Notre Dame, the two teams playing for the national championship. #iufb
The manufactured narrative that IU didn’t belong in the College Football Playoff can formally be classified as utter nonsense.
So then FSU threw SMU under the bus in its lawsuit against the ACC, claiming the addition of SMU would “diminish the ACC’s football media profile.”
SMU went on to beat FSU 42-16 and make the CFP, while FSU finished 2-10. It was the best of times.
4 yellow cards for @dcunited - 0 for @NashvilleSC. @MLS refs continue to decide these matches. Slipping on a wet turf doesn’t warrant a card. Bring the college refs back.
