I don't post much to begin with, but here's a reminder of other places where I also barely post.

part 3 of my star trek: resurgence series wherein star trek once more tries to depict a burgeoning relationship and a familiar face makes an appearance

I've been playing that newish Star Trek game and it's pretty good! I just posted the second part of my playthrough. It's a fun time, watch it!

@HakitaDev Thanks for sharing my video! Working on a project for long enough and finally letting go of it can put me in a weird space, but posts like this go a long way to reorienting myself.
Have you ever wondered "is this tree further from other trees than any given other tree?" You, a sensible adult, probably haven't. Anyway, I made a new video.

Time finally caught up to us.
It's the Bell Riot weekend. Keep your ID on you and remember how much injustice stems from systems that people have built; systems that aren't permanent and can be rebuilt if the levers of action pave the way for it.
First time guest alert! Joining us is @Gatowag to discuss the amazing cinematography that is the film Children of Men. Brandt challenges Willie's thinking that perhaps there's specific ambiguity in movies that Willie doesn't like. Check it out! https://t.co/DK5ybArzLd
Ever see a bunch of currency conversions on @modernrogueshow? That's a process I automated a couple years ago; I wrote about it over here.

@sgtmuffin Think of them like watches. They serve a practical function, for which you should only ever need one; then an expressive function, complimenting mood/setting/tasks/etc. Customizing and building them is fun. It’s like most other consumer-hobbies or collections imo.
This is a must-watch video--it is stunning and an example of some of the best minds doing good. Dev put so much care into this class and Brandt shaped it into an incredible document. You will be exactly like these students--skeptical at first and then completely enraptured.
My join date is probably half a year off because I was unconvinced about Twitter for a while, so I bookmarked @DannyTRS, @jeffcannata, Albrecht, and Rose so I could manually check their updates. Did that every day for months; the things we do when we're young.
real ones used SMS twitter and knew people who refused to use at-replies when it was introduced because they used twitter as a group chat with close friends (people probably still do that w/ private accounts, but those didn't exist back then)
I still can't get over this, one of the most important "natural experiments" to come from COVID:

It's all right there in front of us, a free lunch pathway to reducing some of the most immense cruelty in our society.
