#BREAKING: Passengers are being treated for injuries after a TTC subway train derailed in Scarborough, forcing the closure of Ellesmere station. https://t.co/SkM4D5rWai
Deer Assistant Prime Minister Freeland,
I read in a Brian Lilley tweet that you wont give Toronto money so I am writing to tell you I have no money for Ahlivia Chow because I am spending 650 million dollers on a social inferstructure parking garage and four Ford Fests.

@JasonBeedonj @mikeysilla @ThisBumbler@mhdksafa Because you often don’t get one immediately in Canada (my experience was MRI booked for 9 days later when the concern was whether oxygen was getting to my child’s brain) and Americans are able to step in to fill that gap and profit from it. Neither system is perfect.
Ontario parents: "We want smaller classes, more resources and more support for our kids"
Ontario Min of Ed: "We hear you! That's why we are putting a heightened emphasis on phonics, standardized testing and cursive writing!"

Ffs guys. This isn’t the winner you think it is.
Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) to get an hourly raise of $1. Meanwhile, Doug Ford gave 43 of his MPPs a $16,600 raise not long ago.
Once again, the Ontario government shows their disdain for female dominated professions.
ECEs deserve better than a loonie. Who else agrees? ✋🏿

@nurgulistann@ONTSpecialNeeds If the diagnosis has been shared with the school, Learning Skills should reflect that. A child with ADHD won’t have the ability to regulate in the same way as someone without ADHD and shouldn’t be assessed in the same way. If this isn’t happening, have discussion with the school.
So let me get this straight: The City of Toronto was ok with the Toronto Police using $337,000 of our tax dollars to create a podcast barely anyone listened to...but wasn't ok using $400,000 to fund a 24/7 warming centre to prevent hypothermia & death?
Where are our priorities?
Look who can't bow his head & show respect in the HOC today as they observe a moment of silence for the daycare tragedy in Laval, Quebec.
P.P. has zero empathy. P.P. doesn't care.
What's that saying...actions speak louder than words.
@Teachers__Unite Job action usually follows bargaining breaking down. Not booking the bargaining dates ensures that doesn’t happen so Lecce can get through the year and proclaim, “See! I promised no disruptions to school this year and I did it!”, and then look for a pat on the head.
A class action lawsuit which charges that Ontario's government was “grossly negligent” in failing to prevent waves of death in LTC early on in the pandemic...has been given the go-ahead by the courts.
Who else agrees that families of LTC residents who died…deserve justice? ✋🏽
