Work of @Gaur_Anjali_ & @avs_nikhil in @JCIM_JCTC. Machine-learned potential to model ethylene glycol. In crystal & gas phases, its C-C torsion is gauche. OTOH, in liquid, only 80% molecules are. We map its conformations, dipole moment over T with DPMD

After no progress in the process, when I called, one of the office members informed that the documents have not been received and asked me to send them via email. Even after sending the documents via email, I had called 3 times in past 2 months requesting them to process.
@passportsevamea@rpojaipur my mother and aunt applied for passport nearly four months ago (File no.: JPJ0694A2797224 & JPJ069482888824). I have called 4 times in the past 2 months only to hear each time that they will move the process forward. Till today there is no progress.
An objection was raised by the passport office after nearly 20 days of the application. The required documents were sent immediately by physical post as asked by them.

Although the title and abstract are generic, I will largely talk on the work of @Gaur_Anjali_ on the conformational equilibrium in liquid ethylene glycol, its aqueous solutions and their behavior at liquid-vapor interfaces.

Such a full-circle moment attending MD@60 conference at @jncasr, my alma mater! Thanks to my Ph.D. supervisor, @jncbala, for organizing this exceptional event. Feels surreal to remember being a student at MD@50 a decade ago. Time flies, but the passion remains ever-vibrant!
Got an opportunity to present my work to the Prof. @SmitBerend along with Prof. @jncbala, my labmates Megha, Disha, and Sayantan. Thank you Prof. @SmitBerend for your time, a lively discussion, and suggestions. A day to remember!

Indeed very interesting and robust results. Three proteins (Myoglobin, Lysozyme, Lipase A) in four different environments were studied using extensive large scale MD simulations.
Interesting computational paper by the group of @jncbala on how the surfactant corona of solvent-free liquid proteins enables solubilization, stability, and activity in ionic liquids. Turns out it's pretty much exactly as I thought it would be! Nice!

Really enjoyed working on the development of a non-polarizable force field for a conformationally rich molecule, ethylene glycol. Thank you @jncbala for your guidance throughout the project.

Thankful to the faculty of Center of Adv. Study in Crystallography and Biophysics at Univ. of Madras for inviting me to give a talk tomorrow. It was at this place that one of my heroes, Prof. G N Ramachandran, made his lasting contributions in the field of structural biophysics.
@NadineTee_ @c_borrill Thanks for writing such an article. I just happened to read it. The quantitative details of the waste generated by these industries are really scary. I could never appreciate the need for a process of renewing the clothing material before reading it.
