So these were looters. Same way Rajputs tried to deploy Maratha army, but could not afford. #Maratha never served in Delhi.

@wh0bharatsharma @JaipurDialogues Marathas had fate of having all adversaries from all directions. That's why for 350 years they ruled in this or the other form. British, Portugese, Nizams, Siddhis, Sultans, Bidars, Aadils, Rajputs come mughals were dealt at the same time by both Shivaji Maharaj and his son.

It is mentioned that Rajput kings were in debt and they could not pay Maratha army that they used. Mughals mainly used Rajput kings to wage war against Marathas and its well documented in history.
