Even though sports is the most energizing activity ever, people rarely adopt it in their lifestyles.
Why?
- Some view sports as a hobby for kids, not adults.
- Those who want to, lack access to an ecosystem of players and places.
@playoapp we aim to solve this!
Thank you honourable minister @PriyankKharge your presence made this award special and encouraged all of us. Please join me in congratulating our CTOs for the first ever CTO Excellence Awards and the winners are - https://t.co/jYFp9PgFvJ
It's common to see people around us stop playing as they grow older.
However, Mourya (Consultant at @KPMGIndia) didn't let that stop him from playing, but other factors did. Until he found a way around!

A startup doesn’t succeed because it has:
- Insane funding
- The best business model
- The best PR
A startup succeeds because it:
- Genuinely solves a problem for users
- Executes at lightning speed
- Is obsessed with customer satisfaction
It really is that simple.
A good leader need not always be the face of the organization.
You do your part, give people a platform to test their limits, have a purpose & a plan, and watch the magic happen.
Good leadership is all about building people who will help you build your dreams.
Why I recommend teams should play together?
🎯 Re-energizes the team
🎯 Builds collaborative spirit (with a pinch of healthy competitiveness
🎯 Makes everyone feel included
🎯 Boosts morale and builds enthusiasm.
It's the best decision you'll make, trust me.
Playo (@PlayoApp) is not just a platform.
We’re a movement.
We’re giving people a way to find themselves, true connections, and happiness.
That is our BIG audacious goal.
We want to make taking care of yourself cool again,
Business lesson: Don’t give a f**k & focus on the fun.
We have done 1000s of experiments @PlayoApp, & things have gone awfully wrong at times.
But I'd do it again.
You'll fail 8 times, but the 2 times you win will change the entire game.
No risk, no glory.
If you're in your 20s, break up with instant gratification.
You'll never truly enjoy the journey, it will always be about getting the next thing.
I was trapped in this loop and I ended up losing connection with myself. You don't want that for yourself.
When George Bernard Shaw, said:
“We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”
This is your reminder: Don't let the kid inside you die.
Even after 7 years of Playo, I still make an effort to get to know the candidates before we hire them.
You have to be careful about who you let in the company.
After all, your organization is only as good as the people.
Building a “cool” business is easier when you solve for yourself.
That way:
- You know exactly who needs it
- You’re driven by passion & not instant gratification
- You’re willing to learn & wear multiple hats
- You survive the long months/years before the big break)
Genuine relationships matter more than how many people you know.
Fluffy relationships rarely stand the test of time.
Think about it, how many people do you know today that you'd be ready to build a company with?
