To my generation,

There comes a moment in the life of every generation when it must choose between comfort and conscience. For us, that moment has come again.

In July, we stepped out onto the streets and a union minister resigned. We have done this before.

In 1942, the British arrested the leaders before dawn, believing a movement dies when its leaders are taken. It did not. The young carried it forward and ended the Raj.

Today, Modi-Shah's playbook is the same: close the roads, call it illegal, detain people before they speak.

So our answer will be the same as the young of 1942. If any of us is stopped tomorrow, the one standing beside us carries it on. If that one is stopped, the next does. This movement belongs to every one of us.

Years from now, someone will ask what we did on the 10th of October, when the trains stopped, the roads were sealed and a nation was told to stay silent.

Let our answer be one we are proud to give.

I just sat in quite an unbelievable meeting with the President of India.

We presented our memorandum to her outlining PM Modi and HM Amit Shah’s gross subversion of India’s electoral system and seeking CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation. I was shocked that the President did not deny Vote Chori.

Instead, she asked us to bring her proof. We will bring her a mountain of it. The INDIA bloc will gladly submit every piece of evidence before her.

We welcome her assurance that she will examine the matter and take action.

🚨#Important: This is major! Today, the Supreme Court has distanced itself from one of Gyanesh Kumar’s illegalities.

Chief Justice Surya Kant has said that the court DID NOT approve any changes in Form 6 (the form for registration of new voters). Remember that the other two Election Commissioners had objected to a change in the Form which they said was leading to “harassment” of new voters, especially the Gen Z who were being stopped from becoming registered voters. The Form could only be changed after a change in law and election rules.

The more concerning part is that just one day after the Indian Express exposé on Gyanu, the Election Commission’s Press Release dated Sept 26 stated that “The declaration attached to Form 6 for SIR has been upheld by the SC”. But today, CJI Surya Kant has said NO!

The Court that gave legal cover to Gyanu’s SIR process has put its hands up and said that they had nothing to do with Gyanu’s illegal action!

Clock is ticking for Gyanu! Gyanu, it’s done bro.

NSA को लेकर इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने नोएडा की डीएम के खिलाफ सख़्त फ़ैसला दिया है। डीएम मेधा रूपम ने आकृति चौधरी पर फ़र्ज़ी आधार पर NSA लगा दिया और महीनों जेल में डाल दिया। इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने ज़िलाधिकारी मेधा रूपम की सैलरी से पाँच लाख का हर्जाना वसूल कर आकृति को देने के लिए कहा है। फ़ैसले के इसी हिस्से पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अभी रोक लगाई है। इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने अपने फ़ैसले में IAS/IPS के फ़र्ज़ीवाड़े को लेकर चेतावनी भी दी है।

दूसरा मामला देखिए। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने संभल मामले में फैसला दिया है। इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने मुल्ला अफ़रोज़ को ज़मानत दे थी मगर उन पर NSA लगा दिया और जेल में डाल दिया। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि शक्तियों का अवैध इस्तेमाल हुआ है। यूपी सरकार पर दस लाख का जुर्माना लगा दिया है।

फ़र्ज़ी तरीके से NSA लगाना, महीनों जेल में डालना भारतीय प्रशासनिक व्यवस्था का रूटीन काम हो गया है। व्यवस्था के भीतर एक तरह की अराजकता को मान्यता मिल गई है। कोर्ट भी ऐसे मामलों में याचिकाओं को टहलाता रहता है। जब तक फैसला आता है, व्यक्ति कई महीने जेल में रह चुका होता है। कोई बड़ी बात नहीं कि ऐसा प्रयास हो। क्योंकि भारतीय व्यवस्था किसी को फ़र्ज़ी केस में फँसाना छोड़ दे तो लोग संवैधानिक पदों पर बैठना छोड़ देंगे। एक आदमी नहीं मिलेगा इन पदों पर काम करने के लिए। उन्हें पावर इसीलिए चाहिए होता है कि फ़र्ज़ी मामले में जेल में डाल दें, घर मकान तोड़ दें और अब वोट का अधिकार छीन लें।

Multiple sources have reached out informing that @abhijeet_dipke @SauravDassss and I will be arrested anytime before 10th under NSA/other equivalent provisions.

All three of us have been ready to go to Jail since June 6. There is no fear about it.

But the ones hell bent on destroying this country should be the ones frightened. And they are. As Gandhi said, “violence and hatred stem from fear”. The govt is frightened, and that’s why it is resorting to violence.

We are 30 year olds fighting for a better, more accountable India. We have nothing to lose. You can arrest us, beat us, even kill us.

But you cannot stop us.
