This loss feels deeply personal.
He loved three generations of the Mukesh family, and I often told him that he bridged the void of me never having met my grandfather.

My grandfather, Mukesh ji, lent his voice for Dharam ji’s first on-screen debut film song “Mijhko is raat ki…” from the film “Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere”, and years later, I had the privilege of making my own debut in Johnny Gaddar with him.
