Mr Kumar stated that the world’s largest #digitalization program under the RDSS smart metering initiative is finally gaining the momentum it needs, emphasizing how it will transform millions of lives at the grassroots.

The session was chaired by Shri Saurav Kumar Shah, IPS, Executive Director, RDSS, @pfclindia. The panel discussion highlighted the importance of customizing rollout programs to meet the unique needs of consumers in different states.

We are delighted to share that @MVVNLHQ has signed a contract with @Intelli_Smart for the deployment of 28 lakh #smartmeters within the areas under MVVNL's jurisdiction.

MVVNL Director (Technical) Shri AK Srivastava, Director (Finance) Shri Manoj Kumar Bansal, Chief Engineer (RDSS) Smt Arti Katiyar, Superintending Engineer (RDSS) Shri B.K. Singh and Executive Engineer (RDSS) Shri Mahendra Tiwari were present at the contract signing.

The project will involve installing smart meters across more than 40 divisions. Smart meters facilitate real-time energy monitoring, precise and accurate prepaid billing, and encourage behavioural changes aimed at promoting energy conservation.

Setting New Milestones! 

We are thrilled to announce that @PVVNLHQ has signed a contract with @Intelli_Smart for the project involving the deployment of 67 lakh smart prepaid meters across 14 districts of Uttar Pradesh. 

PVVNL Director (Finance) Shri SK Tomar, Director (Commercial) Shri Sanjay Jain, Director (Technical) Shri NK Mishra, Company Secretary Shri Jitesh Grover, Chief Engineer (RDSS) Shri BL Maurya, Superintendent Engineer (RDSS) Shri SK Gupta and Executive Engineer (RDSS) Shri Manvendra Singh were present during the contract signing. 

With this, IntelliSmart has signed India’s biggest competitively bid #smartmetering contract awarded so far under the Government of India’s #RDSS programme. 

We take great pride in achieving this significant milestone in our three-year journey. This serves as a testament to the industry’s trust in #IntelliSmart’s ability to successfully execute large-scale smart metering projects, all the while ensuring cost advantages that are crucial for enhancing the operational and financial efficiencies of the discoms.

This win also takes IntelliSmart many steps closer to realising its vision of becoming the most preferred digital partner of the utilities and commitment to digitalising the power sector.

@Intelli_Smart participated in the 15th edition of Smart Grid Forum 2023 conference in São Paulo, Brazil, where Mr Anupam Shrivastava, Head - BD, Policy Advocacy & Regulatory, was one of the speakers representing the international panel. Organised by the Latin American Smart Grid Forum, the theme of this edition was ‘Advanced technologies for the integration and management of energy, connectivity and other services in electrical networks and in buildings and smart homes’.

Mr Shrivastava delved into the key attributes of a mammoth programme currently underway in India under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme for the implementation of 250 million smart meters in the next 2-3 years. He also shared the experiences drawn by IntelliSmart in managing more than 20 million assets and the innovative initiatives undertaken by the company in the areas of Advanced Data Analytics, #DemandResponse, DER planning and monitoring, smart meter hub, sector agnostic smart meter deployment, blockchain-enabled P2P, etc.
