Thrilling Skies over the Brahmaputra.

As part of its 93rd Anniversary celebrations, the Indian Air Force captivated Guwahati with a spectacular flying display over the majestic Brahmaputra at Lachit Ghat.

Hon’ble Governor of Assam, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, and the Chief of the Air Staff graced the occasion as Chief Guests. The event was also witnessed by 48 Foreign Service Attachés and distinguished dignitaries.

The celebration began with a stirring performance by the IAF Band, setting the tone for an unforgettable afternoon of precision and pride.

In keeping with the theme “Infallible, Impervious & Precise”, the skies came alive with a thrilling array of aircraft — Su-30, Rafale, Tejas, Mirage, MiG-29, Jaguar, Hawk, Apache, Mi-17, C-295, C-130, C-17, IL-78, AN-32, AEW&C and Dornier, along with the vintage Harvard aircraft. The Sarang Helicopter Display Team mesmerised the crowd with its graceful and synchronised manoeuvres, drawing loud applause from spectators.

The aerial display culminated in breathtaking formations by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team, followed by a flawless performance by the Air Warrior Drill Team, leaving the audience spellbound.

A magnificent celebration of the spirit of the Northeast and the indomitable valour of the men and women in blue.

@IndiGo6E had booked a student fare for 31 Jul but had to reschedule to 4 Aug due to emergency. Ur team advised reschedule bt didn’t inform the fare would change to regular. At airport, baggage allowance dropped frm 25 to 15kg. Faced stress & harassment. Who compensates for this?

I feel everyone should have two experiences in life.

First, falling deeply in love. Those butterflies in the stomach, the wide smile you get when they message you, and that feeling of falling hopelessly and uncontrollably in love. It's beautiful, it makes you realise how deeply our hearts can care for someone.

Second, getting your heart broken by the person you loved. It's painful, it makes you question your worth. The cries, the sadness, that feeling of self-doubt. This is important, as it teaches you how to love yourself. How people can leave anytime, but that doesn't mean the end of your happiness. Also teaches you how resilient our brains are, and how we can overcome any loss and continue living our lives.

Recently someone in our family got divorced and all my relatives started saying “I’m sorry”, even though their relationship was toxic as hell.

Instead of congratulating for being strong and leaving a violent relationship, they are feeling sorry that now she will be labelled as “divorcee” and nobody will marry her in the future.

I just wonder when will people understand that leaving a relationship and choosing peace and being single is a choice that women are okay with . Let’s not make a it a taboo. Let’s not make them feel bad for choosing themselves.
